1249 Squadron: Duke of Edinburgh Award

Cadets at 1249 Squadron are currently undertaking their DofE Awards at either Bronze or Silver levels.

2020 looks like it will be a busy year with a large number of cadets undertaking voluntry work in the local community, learning new skills (or building on existing ones), completing physical activities and sports.  Groups are also planning to undertake expeditions; practicing and perfecting their navigational skills and ensuring they are prepared for the physical challenges presented by carrying two days' worth of equipment and food (three days for Silver participants!)

We are always looking for voluntry projects to get involved with in the local community - please get in touch if you think you have something we could help with.
